Today's trail, 11 kmphotos from the hiking trail between Tarraluoppal and Tuoddar.An ascent of 300 meters will hit us right after we leave the Tarraluoppal cabins. After 3 km we reach Today's highest point at about 1000 meters. From that point on and for the remaining 7 km, it will be pure joy to hike The tableland is dotted with numerous small lakes and ponds, and there still remain pockets of snow and ice, some of them quite large. There are no real efforts involved in hiking up here, the trail is very nice and easy.   Long stretches of the trail are made very fast and comfortable with a lavish use of duckboards.  Clear, open views in all directions, and from an altitude of almost 1000 meters you can see far. |
