photos from the hiking trail between Tarrekaise and Såmmarlappa.
Today's stretch have some parts which have led me to give it the honor
of being the most difficult. Sounds dangerous but don't expect too
much.
After about 4 km we arrive to a stream that need to be forded. There
are no bridges. Our feet might become cold and wet, and that is about
how dangerous it can get. But if you have never tried anything like
this before, then it can be an adventure.
On the other side of the stream the nature turns a little bit more
dry and barren. The soil is very thin. Crowberries and bellflowers
like it here. The rock to the right is painted and mark the summer
trail.
In the military the soldiers learn to march 55 minutes and rest for
5 minutes every hour. The optimal ratio. Many hikers try to follow
the same rule. But we don't have to do that. We are in no hurry.
For a while we are able to walk in this open park-like nature before
the birch forest ones more surround us.
This picture is from the previous day, but it illustrates very well
how the trail is towards the end of today. You just need to increase
the size of the boulders.
