The best notice board in Japan can be found in Kyoto at the International Community House. The electronic notice board on this site is unfortunately yet only a very pale shadow of the real one.
The trains in Japan are world famous for their punctual departures and arrivals, but don't expect that when it comes to the city busses. It is said that many of the buss drivers are old members of the yakuza. Some of the drivers can be surprisingly rude and not very service minded.
Japanese movies are shown for free at the Japan Foundation every wednesday from 14:00. About a hundred meters north from the Karasuma-Shijo intersection, on the left side.
There are no frisbee golf courses in Kyoto, the nearest one can be found in Shiga prefecture.
